This policy explains how UniPractice ("we", "us") handles information collected through this website. It covers the marketing website only. Data that a billing company stores in the UniPractice application is governed by that company's agreement with us, including a Business Associate Agreement where required by HIPAA.
Information we collect
- What you send us. When you request a demo or email us, we receive your name, work email, company, the number of practices you bill for, your current software if you tell us, and your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request, to operate and secure the site.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.
Please do not send patient information
Do not include protected health information (PHI), such as patient names, dates of birth or member IDs, in a demo request or email. The website is not designed to receive PHI.
How we use information
- To reply to you, schedule a demo and prepare a quote.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, such as hosting and email providers, under terms that limit their use of it. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests and related emails for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a business relationship, and then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you sent us. Depending on where you live, including California under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To make a request, email hello@unipractice.com. We will verify the request and respond within the time the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
